[PT-BR] Raffa&Gio® é uma Pizzeria Italiana que homenageia o casal que popularizou e apresentou ao mundo a pizza mais icônica do mundo. Em 1898 Rafaelle Esposito e Maria Giovanna Brandi serviram pela primeira vez para Rainha Margarida e rei Umberto I de Savoia uma pizza feita das cores da então muito recente república italiana. Uma massa em formato arredondado contendo manjericão, tomate e mozzarella como protagonistas. Verde, vermelho e branco. Essa pizza viria a ser muito elogiada pela Rainha aos 4 cantos, e assim popularizada pelo homônimo, Margherita.

[ING] Raffa&Gio is an Italian pizzeria that pays tribute to the couple who introduced to the world the most iconic pizza. In 1898 Raffaele Esposito and Maria Giovanna Brandi served a pizza made with ingredients that showed the italian republic colors to Queen Margarida and King Umberto I. It was a round shaped pasta with tomato, mozzarella and basil. Red, white and green. That pizza was so praised by the Queen that it would be popularized by the name Margherita.

[PT-BR] O logotipo da Raffa&Gio®️ foi inspirado em um famoso personagem da cultura popular italiana. O Pulcinella é um dos símbolos da cidade de Nápoles. Personifica virtudes e vícios da sociedade Napolitana e suas origens são muito antigas. A máscara de Pulcinella nasceu na cidade de Napoli na segunda metade do ano 500 mas, a sua origem, diz a cultura popular, é de muitos séculos antes. Alguns historiadores dizem que é uma máscara descendente de Maccus, personagem das faras atelanas da Antiga Roma. Esperto e falante, Pulcinella é a representação do “dolce far niente” italiano. A sua maior inspiração é comer e beber. E ainda, dizem por aí, que ver a mascara do Pulcinella é um sinal de boa sorte.

[ING] The Raffa&Gio logo was inspired by a famous character of the Italian popular culture. Pulcinella is one of the symbols of Napoli. He personifies both virtues and vices of Napoletane society and has quite ancient origins. The Pulcinella mask originated in the city of Napoli around the second half of 500 but it's believed to be much older than that. Historians usually say that it's a modification of Maccus's mask, a character from feasts in Ancient Rome.
